The USB Infrared Transceiver v3 is compatible with Linux, Windows and Android. The unit features IR transmitter and IR Receiver. The infrared transmitter is capable of emitting infrared signals with wavelenght of 940nm and frequencies between 11KHz and 56KHz. The USB Infrared Transceiver v3 can receive Infrared Signals with a frequencies between 11KHz and 56KHz .(Covers almost all IR remote controls on the market)
The unit is compatible with Winlirc , via the IRToy driver for WinLirc, and in Linux you can use it via the IrToy LIRC driver, currently the unit is supported in Linux Kernel Mainline.
